Jun. 25—PAYNESVILLE — The Nordland Lutheran Church 139th Mission Fest dinner will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25. Meatballs and gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, dessert and a beverage for a freewill donation. The auction is at 1 p.m. of pieced and hand-stitched quilts, needlework, hand-crafted items and more. The church is three miles south of Hawick on County Road 2, then two miles east on County Road 102. Phone is 320-276-8283.
WILLMAR — A 150th anniversary celebration will begin with a music concert and 1950s drive-in from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy live music from Custom Made. Drive-in food and beverages (burgers, fries, shakes, etc.) will be available for purchase.
SPICER — Vacation Bible School will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 27-July 1 at Green Lake Free Lutheran Church, north of Kandiyohi. Counselors from Camp Omega in Waterville will lead the week. All children are welcome.
LAKE LILLIAN — An ice cream social will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at United Lutheran Church in Lake Lillian. Barbecues, hot dogs, beans, watermelon, potato chips, pies, ice cream with toppings and beverages. Freewill offering; dine-in and take outs available.
