Let's be honest, no one likes doing chores—there are almost always a million other things you'd rather be doing with your time. But, unless you don't mind living in an unclean, cluttered, and disorganized home, they are a necessary evil. And at least it feels good to check something off that ever-growing to-do list staring you down at the start of each day. Some chores are far more tedious than others and every person is different when it comes to the tasks they don't mind tackling, and the ones they absolutely dread. But with spring cleaning season upon us, a new survey set out to find out which household chore Americans hate the most.

In a survey conducted by YouGov in March 2021, 1,775 U.S. adults were asked to identify their least favorite household chore. Out of 10 tasks, there was a three-way tie for least favorite.
