Kristin Chmielewski became the seventh player in Stow program history to score 1,000 career points and the host Bulldogs (16-1, 9-0) took one step closer to a Suburban League National Conference title on Wednesday.

"It says a lot for the quality of the kid because she played her role and did an extremely good job as a freshman, sophomore and junior," Stow coach Bob Podges said of Chmielewski. "She waited until her senior year to be the scorer that she is. ... She bought into the program and she bought into the process."
