Chicago Sisters Using Arts To Empower Young Survivors

Chicago sisters Salamishah and Scheherazade are the founders of A Long Walk Home, a Chicago-based nonprofit using arts to help empower young people to end gender-based violence. The sisters share how their personal journey of healing from trauma through photography inspired them to create a youth-centered arts program that helps amplify Black women's stories of healing.
