First thing first, determine how much you can spend and stick to it. Things can add up very quickly and you don't want to be the only person not having fun at your party because you're stressed about how much you spent. If you've got a long guest list, you'll probably need to book a venue. So if you plan outside the box and opt for, let's say, a weekday or a Sunday for your event, you'll be able to save huge on your venue. Always remember that the best party is one that you can afford. Your guests want to celebrate you, not a decadent ice sculpture.
