Chalonne Joins the Fight Against Breast Cancer

BEL-AIR, CA / ACCESSWIRE / March 10, 2022 /Chalonne, the company that introduces artistic expression and worldly experiences to the wearable tech market with its luxury Apple Watch® bands, has announced its ongoing partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Chalonne, founded by its CEO Carlye Morgan, states that by working with BCRF, it hopes to contribute in a meaningful way to help find a cure for a disease that impacts thousands of women each year including 1 in 8 women in the U.S.

In 2022, it's estimated that 287,850 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. "In American women, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second-leading cause of cancer deaths. Finding a cure is an urgent issue. At Chalonne, we are committed to giving back to breast cancer research in the hopes of finding better treatments for this awful disease that touches so many lives."

Ms. Morgan knew early on in the development of Chalonne that she wanted to use it as a vehicle to support women's causes, specifically breast cancer research. Finding the right non-profit was equally as important as finding a manufacturing partner who could deliver a high-quality and well-crafted product. Chalonne's team selected BCRF due to its singular focus on funding the world's most promising research and brightest minds in science. Chalonne presented their business plan and design sketches to BCRF, and in alignment with Chalonne's vision and story, BCRF agreed to a partnership.

Chalonne states, "Giving back to women's causes is part of Chalonne's DNA, and we are thrilled to partner with BCRF. To that end, we have committed to donating 4% of all retail sales on Chalonne.com to BCRF year-round."

As Women's History Month gets underway, Chalonne would love to see other female-founded businesses that have a goal of empowering women take center stage. The company says, "We hope the story and success of Chalonne can help inspire more young women to imagine themselves as entrepreneurs and business leaders and to consider these roles as career paths."

In the meantime, the company is developing plans for potential partnerships with additional non-profits. "We are very passionate about women's issues and believe we have the ability to effect change over time," Chalonne says. "We look forward to the day when breast cancer no longer disrupts or steals the lives of thousands of women, and we will continue to support BCRF's research in hopes that it will result in a cure."

Chalonne sells luxury watch bands that are designed in Bel-Air, California, and meticulously hand-crafted in France with the finest leathers, gemstones, and solid gold. Founded by Carlye Morgan in 2019, the company integrates artisan craftsmanship and high-quality materials into its visionary designs. Chalonne has made female empowerment one of its integral values and is dedicated to giving back to organizations that support women.
