Having a baby often tops lists for the most stressful life events but those who have given birth in recent months definitely didn’t intend to bring a new into the world in the middle of a pandemic too.
The coronavirus has meant life for a lot of new parents than it would’ve been otherwise as newborns may not be introduced to their extended family for some time as it has disrupted domestic and international travel.
However, the power of the internet has allowed those to keep up with the new little ones in their lives, including the infants born to celebrities in the pandemic.

Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas
Baby boy Roman arrived in March for his proud parents, former The Only Way Is Essex Star Lucy Mecklenburgh and actor Ryan Thomas.
It is the first child for Mecklenburgh and the second for the soap actor who shares daughter Scarlett with ex and former Corrie co-star Tina O’Brien.
It was a while before his older sister could visit him due to social distancing measures but the proud father posted a photo when the pair were able to meet.
Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson
Queen and Slim star Jodie Turner-Smith gave birth to a daughter in April, her first child with husband and Dawson’s Creek actor Joshua Jackson.
Jackson shared a dedication to his wife as the US celebrated Mother’s Day in May, writing: “Thank you for the depth of grace you have found since our daughter has arrived.

Grimes and Elon Musk
Grimes and Elon Musk’s union seemed to baffle the world when they went public two years ago but it was more than just a short celeb romance and they welcomed their son into the world in May.
Many expected the musician, whose real name is Claire Boucher, to give the infant an *unusual* name and of course, she didn’t disappoint.
They announced the tot as X AE A-12 and explained their reasons for giving him the strange moniker, but California law doesn’t allow number to be included in a name so the 12 was changed into Roman numerals.
