2019 was a year of big eyes and chubby faces.

A number of high-profile stars welcomed new babies into the world this year: From reality show royalty to an actual heir to the throne (albeit seventh in line), the past twelve months have seen a fair share of little ones.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had their first child, Archie, in May, and the red-headed cutie already resembles both his mom and his dad. Whether or not there'll be more kids on the way for Meghan and Harry remains to be seen, but in the meantime, they definitely have their hands full!

A handful of stars used surrogates in 2019, including Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who announced the arrival of baby Psalm just days after Meghan and Harry's big news. Bravo staple Andy Cohen also became a dad via surrogate earlier this year.

Although many high-profile people became first-time parents this year, for others, this isn't the first go-around. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds officially had their third child (whose name has not yet been revealed), as did Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson.

More stars who gave birth this year included Amy Schumer, Carrie Underwood and Jenna Bush Hager. See more in the gallery above.
