Celebrate your graduate with a treasured keepsake
May 8—For generations local newspapers have been helping families celebrate their most important milestones. When babies are born, parents have shared the news in a birth announcement. Your children's engagements and weddings have been shared with the entire community. When mom and dad finally retire after all of those years of hard work, you recognize them with an announcement in the paper. Community newspapers bring people together, and we are demonstrating that again during this challenging time by publishing your family's special milestones, sharing them with the entire community in ways no other media does.
This spring, an entire class of seniors may have to celebrate graduation with restrictions whether there are capacity restrictions or masks. And parents, grandparents and other loved ones are looking for unique ways to celebrate their graduates who may not get to walk across the stage, or to throw their mortarboard high into the air as the principal congratulates another class of graduation seniors.
