Cast revealed for Disney Plus legal K-drama series 'May It Please The Court'

The cast of the upcoming legal K-drama series “May It Please The Court,” which is expected to be released on Disney Plus sometime this year, has been revealed.

“May It Please The Court” will follow two lawyers who are forced to work together after discovering a web of conspiracies that threatens to destroy their cases.

The series is based on the South Korean novel of the same name written by Jung Hye-jin and published on Dec. 6, 2019.

The courtroom drama series will feature “Diary of a Prosecutor’s” Jung Ryeo-won as Noh Chak-hee and “Voice’s” Lee Kyu-hyung as Jwa Si-baek. Jung Jin-young of “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” will be playing the role of Jang Gido, the CEO of the fictional law firm Jangsan.

The K-drama will be directed by Kang Min-gu, who is well known for “Itaewon Class” and “The Goddess of Revenge.”

Although an official premiere date has not yet been announced, the show is expected to be released later this year on Disney Plus.
