Cardinals hoping to get WR Rondale Moore back for some role vs. Panthers

The Arizona Cardinals enter Week 4 with not many healthy or available players at wide receiver. DeAndre Hopkins is suspended for three more games, Antoine Wesley is on injured reserve, A.J. Green has an injured knee and Rondale Moore hasn’t played yet this season with a hamstring injury.

Moore was officially limited on the first injury report of the week and was seen by reporters during the open part of practice Wednesday.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury is not sure Moore will be fully healthy but there is the hope that he will be able to offer something this weekend against the Carolina Panthers.

“(Moore) was limited some, but it was good to have him back out there,” Kingsbury told reporters after practice. “Hopefully he progresses to the point we can get something out of him Sunday. I don’t know to what extent yet.”

With Green likely missing the game, Kingsbury already said on Sunday after their 20-12 loss to the Los Angeles Rams that they would not push Moore back too quickly just because Green is out. They want him healthy enough to play and want to be smart.

The Cardinals have two days left of practice to try and figure things out with Moore and their other injured players.
