'Cannot wait to see how it unfolds!' UnHitched chef to appear on 'Hell's Kitchen'

Alejandro “Alex” Najar, chef at UnHitched Brewing Co. in Louisville, will appear on the latest season of "Hell’s Kitchen."

The reality show features chefs in cooking competitions and is hosted by celebrity chief Gordon Ramsey.

“Y’all remember when I was absent for a month? Well … here’s why! I’ll be competing on Hell’s Kitchen Season 21 Battle of the Ages! Tune in September 29th and watch me sweat and cry a little! So excited to share this experience with everyone and cannot wait to see how it unfolds!” Najar shared Tuesday on his Instagram, @el_jefe_najar.

“You honestly never really know where you’ll end up if you just follow your dream,” Najar said.

In his Instagram stories, which are available for 24 hours, he shared his fellow contestants, showing excitement for the other Northeast Ohio competitor, Cheyenne Nichols.

UnHitched Brewing shared in Najar’s joy, stating that just being chosen for a show like this is “top notch.”

“We've always said inside our walls how special Alejandro (Alex) Najar is as a person and chef, and now the world gets to see his skills and personality,” the brewery shared on its Facebook page.

“We are elated to share this experience with him and all of you. We are excited for our small town who will see some outside visitors because of the show. We are excited for our employees to be a part of these special moments. But most importantly, we are excited for Alex as he continues on his culinary path of kickin ass!!”

Where you can watch 'Hell’s Kitchen Season 21 Battle of the Ages?'

Hell’s Kitchen Season 21 Battle of the Ages premieres at 8 p.m. Sept. 29 on Fox. This season’s premise: "Gordon Ramsay is back in Las Vegas, home to five of Ramsay's restaurants, including the world's first Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen restaurant at Caesars Palace. At stake is a life-changing grand prize, including a head chef position at Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas and the title of Hell's Kitchen winner," notes the website.

The first episode is all about the chefs who are 23 years old or younger.
