The Miami Dolphins beat the Buffalo Bills 21-19 on Sunday. If the score seems weird, it's because the game ended in ways many NFL fans had never seen before.

It started with the Dolphins holding Josh Allen and the high-powered Bills at the 2-yard line with less than 2 minutes to go. Then, pinned against the back of his end zone, Dolphins punter Thomas Morstead booted the ball into the back of teammate Trent Sherfield for a safety.

This gave Buffalo the ball back one more time, but on the drive, Isaiah McKenzie was tackled at Miami's 41-yard line, and the Bills couldn't stop the clock in time to give Tyler Bass a chance to kick the game-winning field goal.

Butt punt? Thomas Morstead draws laughs from Mark Sanchez

Few people have ever seen a punt into a teammate's back before, and that it happened in such a critical moment led to some incredible reactions on social media.

The best reaction goes to former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, who has a back-related incident of his own.

Another person who knows a little about punting, Pat McAfee, also weighed in.

A few other highlights on the punt before we get more positive on the Dolphins:

Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey lost it after the game ended

New Buffalo offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, who quarterbacked the Miami Hurricanes to the 2001 BCS national championship, was not happy when the clock ran out on the Bills' comeback. CBS' cameras caught him throwing his notebooks around the coaches' booth after the game.

Plenty of people on Twitter had thoughts on this, too.

Just another 2022 Miami Dolphins game.
