Burlington police looking for suspect in tobacco store burglary over the weekend

Police are looking for a suspect following a burglary that left one Burlington business with a damaged front door and $4,000 worth of missing goods.

Burlington police officers responded to Prime Tobacco & Vape, located at 2761 S Church Street, on Sunday, Sept 25 at 5:50 am in reference to a business alarm, according to a department news release.

The release also states that once officers arrived on the scene no suspects were found but the front door was damaged and $4,000 in goods had been taken, according to the business owner.

No suspect(s) are in custody at this time.

The surveillance video showed a male wearing a face mask, blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and gloves. He fled the scene in a gray Dodge, according to the department news release.
