Brunswick Little Theatre to hold auditions for a quirky, funny, poignant comedy

Brunswick Little Theatre will hold auditions for “37 Postcards,” Saturday, Dec. 11 and Monday, Dec. 13 at the theater located at 8068 River Road S.E., Southport. Auditions will be first come, first served and will consist of cold readings from the script.

The play by Michael McKeever is a quirky, funny, and poignant comedy about the Suttons a loving family that has managed to create their own world, which may look strange and crazy to outsiders. This hits home for the Suttons when the son brings his fiancé to meet the folks.

Needed are four females, and two males for roles ranging in age from the 20s to 70 and over. The roles consist of two women aged late 40s to mid to late 50s, one in her 20s or early 30s, and one 70 and over to play a foul-mouthed, hilarious grandmother. The male roles consist of one-man aged 20s to early 30s and the other is late 40s to mid to late 50s.

Production dates will be February 17-27, 2022.
