The Boston Bruins have taken care of their last restricted free agent, signing defenseman Brandon Carlo to a two-year deal worth an AAV of 2.85 million.

The contract will pay Carlo $2.2 million in Year 1 and $3.5 million in the second season. Boston had around $3.2 million in cap space after signing blueliner Charlie McAvoy on Sunday, according to CapFriendly.

Carlo had two goals and eight assists and averaged just shy of 21 minutes of ice time per game last season, while finding a regular spot alongside Torey Krug in the Bruins’ top four.
