Browns fan with custom Odell Beckham Jr. license plates has chance meeting with OBJ
Imagine the shock of an Ohio woman, who says she is Odell Beckham Jr.’s biggest fan, when Beckham’s car pulled up alongside hers over the weekend.
‘Odell, what’s up, man!’
A woman named Lu posted videos and photos to Instagram documenting the encounter.
Beckham was sitting in the back seat of a luxury car and Lu and the boys in her car noticed him. They rolled down their windows and started yelling to him.
One boy says, “Odell, what’s up, man!” and Lu can he heard telling him that she has his name on her license plates. She speeds up a bit so he can see.
Beckham and Lu pull over and she and her nephews get to meet the receiver, who was traded from the New York Giants to the Cleveland Browns earlier this year.
Lu’s Instagram feed had several pictures and videos of Beckham from when he was with the Giants and since he became a member of the Browns. She of course has an orange Beckham Browns jersey.
‘OBJR13’
Lu’s Ohio license plates were “OBJR13” in homage the Beckham, who wears No. 13.
Beckham posed for photos and also autographed the plates, and Lu said she took them off and will be keeping them as a keepsake.
Which means there was only one possible drawback to the chance meeting: Lu might have to go to the DMV to get new plates.
