Jun. 14—With the cut of a ribbon, the Broomfield Farmers Market will open for its 11th season Tuesday afternoon.

City officials and members of the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. Tuesday to kick off the season.

Enjoy made-from-scratch tamales, salsa and other Latin foods."

A variety of fresh vegetables will be brought in each week. There will also be food trucks at the market this year, and community members are invited to stay awhile on a summer evening. There are tables and chairs available next to the market.

The Broomfield Farmers Market is managed by volunteers and all proceeds to to community outreach, the release states.

Those who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 must wear a mask, according to the market's Facebook page.
