Broncos safety P.J. Locke asks ‘Madden’ to boost his rating after clinching win

Madden and NBA 2K are the premier sports video game franchises for gamers, and the professional athletes in them take the game — and their ratings — seriously.

P.J Locke has begun his Madden rating campaign after sealing the Denver Broncos’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3. Locke forced a fumble to help the Broncos clinch a win and move to 2-1.

Now the defensive back is asking EA Sports to reward his big play with a boost in the NFL’s popular video game.

While Madden may or may not reward Locke with a Madden boost, he can be proud of having, so far, one of the stingiest defenses in the league.

The Broncos’ defense has allowed 36 points for a 12-point-a-game average through three games. Denver’s offense found a spark toward the end of the 49ers game, but so far, the defense is the crown jewel unit of the team, while the highly-hyped offense is still trying to find its footing.

As we wait for Madden‘s decision on Locke, tune in this Sunday as the Broncos will gear up to play the division rival Las Vegas Raiders.
