Dear readers, Lady Whistledown will return to your Netflix queue this spring. And she's teased plenty of intel for Season 2 of "Bridgerton."

The iconic Netflix series – executive produced by Shonda Rhimes – exploded last Christmas, and is plotting a return on March 25, when it shifts focus from Daphne to another siblin

"Bridgerton" is the story of an extended family clamoring for improved social standing in 1813 high-society London, their courtships, marriages (and many balls).

While women must abide by rules of their gender in the Regency era – marry and produce heirs – race has no bearing on someone's place in society.

Season 2's first-look photos suggest faces old and new will be making quite a splash, with gowns, fencing, hunting and balls on the agenda.

Season 1 primarily focused on the romance between Daphne Bridgerton (Pheobe Dynevor) and The Duke of Hastings, Simon Bassett (Regé-Jean Page).

As in Julia Quinn's novel series, the second outing will focus on a different member of the "Bridgerton" family, Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), and his journey to love.

Kate (Simone Ashley) and Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) arrive from India, and though Anthony initially courts Edwina, his bickering with Kate binds them and adds complications all around. Elsewhere, expect the garish, striving Featheringtons to welcome their newest heir – and for Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) to keep a critical secret from those she knows best.

Review: Netflix's magnificent 'Bridgerton' glitters with period drama glory

"Bridgerton" cast members revealed the premiere date news in a short video clip, reading a "paper" from Lady Whistledown herself on Christmas in 2021.

Will fans be as captivated without its former leading man? Page won't be returning in the fan-favorite role.

"Dearest Readers, while all eyes turn to Lord Anthony Bridgerton's quest to find a Viscountess, we bid adieu to Regé-Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings," read a statement from the show earlier this year. "We'll miss Simon's presence onscreen, but he will always be a part of the Bridgerton family."

"Bridgerton" was also renewed for Season 3 and 4 earlier this year. Netflix also said a limited series spinoff is in the works that will center a young Queen Charlotte and feature younger versions of Lady Danbury and Violet Bridgerton.
