The worlds of Bridgerton and Harry Potter are colliding.

A little under a month after the hit period drama dropped on Netflix in December, fans of Bridgerton are now connecting the dots and beginning to realize that actor Freddie Stroma may look familiar because he once starred in another beloved adaptation based on a book series — the Harry Potter film saga.

Stroma, 34, portrayed the arrogant Cormac McLaggen in the sixth film of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and also stars as Prince Friedrich of Prussia on Bridgerton.

"HOLY S--- THAT PRINCE DUDE FROM BRIDGERTON WAS IN HARRY POTTER HOW DID NEITHER ME OR MY MOM PICK THAT OUT," one fan tweeted. Added another, "Not me just now realizing that the guy that played the prince on Bridgerton also played Cormac McLaggen on Harry Potter."

The British actor has also portrayed Adam Cromwell on Lifetime's UnREAL, H.G. Wells on ABC's Time After Time and Luke in Pitch Perfect, according to his IMDB page.

Based on the popular books by Julia Quinn, Bridgerton follows the elite, rule-bending Bridgerton family as they find love in Regency England. The series is one of Shonda Rhimes' long-awaited projects as part of the eight-show deal she made with Netflix in 2017.

During a chat with PEOPLE in 2009, Stroma opened up about how he became an actor.

"I'm the crazy one in the family," he said at the time. "When I was young, I never really thought I would go into acting. At that age I wanted to be a ninja, but the dream to be an actor started when I was 16."

And on Bridgerton, Stroma isn't the only cast member who has made an appearance in the Harry Potter film series — his costar Regé-Jean Page has, too.

Eagle-eyed fans believe to have spotted Page, 31, in the first installment of the two-part final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part I (2011), according to BuzzFeed. In an uncredited role, he appears to pop up beside Hermione Granger (Emma Watson).

During an appearance earlier this month on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Page — who plays Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings on Bridgerton — addressed rumors that he'll be joining another hit franchise and replacing Daniel Craig as the next James Bond.

"I think the internet thinks a lot of things, and that's one of the more pleasant ones," he said with a smile.

"I think there might be an element of cultural translation to be done here. Like, if you're a Brit and you do something ... that people regard well, then people start saying the 'B' word," he added, seemingly referring to the word "Bond."
