A bride-to-be has hit off over her partner’s choice of best man – because of the way he looks.

“All of my bridesmaids are gorgeous and honestly I can’t imagine having better looking friends,” she wrote in a social media post.

“My issue is with my fiancé’s best man. He’s only 5”3 so he will look ridiculous escorting my sister down the aisle.”

“He is homely as well,” she adds. “A unibrow and crooked teeth. One of those really big smiles that shows his teeth and 10ft of gym off too”.

Later down in the post, she explains how she has requested her future husband to move the man in question “at the end of the line of men in all pictures” in order to crop him out, but her partner has refused because the friend spent $10k (£7.76k) on his stag do.

“I’m crying and so upset that my fiancé said he wouldn’t move him...I told him I’m calling off the wedding,” she finishes. “I just need some support from fellow women who know how stressful it is to pull off a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing wedding.”

The woman’s complaint, originally posted on Facebook, was shared by a Reddit user, together with the caption: “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Fellow users have weighed in, criticising the bride-to-be’s attitude.

One comment read, “What a terrible person she really is...”

“If she actually goes through with calling off the wedding, the groom dodged a f***ing bullet,” was another.

“This is the type of woman that hounds her daughter into eating disorders because ‘must be pretty’,” read a third comment.

Last month, a couple divided social media users for planning a sunrise wedding at 5:30am.

In a post on Reddit the couple explain that the sunrise is a significant time of day for them and every year they celebrate their anniversary by waking up early and going to the beach to watch the sunset together.

“It's a very special tradition, as we have both overcome a number of personal challenges during our time together, and the symbolism of watching a new day begin is deeply meaningful for us,” the post reads. However, the idea didn’t go down well with all their guests.
