'Go Braves & go Dawgs': Jordan Davis reveals Braves jersey during national title celebration

Jordan Davis paid homage to Georgia's championship and the Atlanta Braves' World Series championship on Saturday during the Bulldogs' national championship celebration in Sanford Stadium.

The senior defensive lineman said "Go Braves" and "Go Dawgs" as he thanked the fans. He pulled up his white UGA national championship wind breaker to reveal an Atlanta Braves jersey.

The crowd rejoiced in both wins before breaking out with the Braves' Tomahawk Chop.

Georgia was celebrating its first championship since 1980 and held a parade down Lumpkin Street before a Dawg Walk into Sanford Stadium.

The Braves won their first World Series since 1995 and Joc Pederson and Atlanta mascot Blooper celebrated in Sanford Stadium on Nov. 6 when the Bulldogs played Missouri.

Davis became a beloved Bulldog who won the Bednarik and Outland trophies during Georgia's championship season.

Fans clamored for him to be a Heisman candidate, and he finished ninth in the voting. He scored a touchdown on a 1-yard plunge during Georgia's Nov. 20 win against Charleston Southern.

He is projected to be a first-round NFL draft pick in April.
