PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Brandywine Realty Trust (BDN) on Wednesday reported a key measure of profitability in its third quarter. The results matched Wall Street expectations.

The Philadelphia-based real estate investment trust said it had funds from operations of $60 million, or 35 cents per share, in the period.

The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for funds from operations of 35 cents per share.

The company said it had net income of $274.4 million, or $1.60 per share.

The real estate investment trust posted revenue of $126.1 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $129.9 million.

Brandywine Realty Trust expects full-year funds from operations in the range of $1.40 to $1.42 per share.

The company's shares have fallen 38% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $9.82, a decrease of 33% in the last 12 months.
