This Sedona Resort Has an Over-the-top Spa and Adventurous Offerings

In the summer of 2021, Sedona Rouge, a hotel in Sedona, Arizona, announced a property-wide transformation and a new name change. Now, The Wilde Resort and Spa is one of Arizona's premier hotels with an exceptional spa, delectable dining, and plenty of desert charm.

The Wilde, the hotel explained in a statement, "[allows] guests to embrace the natural beauty that surrounds them in one of the world's most breathtaking destinations" and act as a home base for both adventurers and relaxation seekers alike.

At the hotel, guests will find 105 contemporary rooms and suites all featuring dramatic colors and rich fabrics that complement the stunning views outside. Though the rooms are certainly sublime, guests are encouraged to leave them from time to time to meander through the property's gardens and courtyards, all landscaped to mimic the rugged terrain of the Sonoran Desert. At the Grove, the property's largest outdoor gathering space, guests can also sit and take in views of Thunder Mountain while relaxing with a glass of wine around cozy fire pits.

The property also features a modern culinary concept, Rascal, helmed by Chef Mercer Mohr. Rascal, the hotel noted, provides guests with "a unique dining experience while paying homage to the classic all-day American diner with chef-driven, market-inspired cuisine and a vibrant cocktail program."

There's one more place guests can go to relax: The Wilde Haven Spa.

The Wilde Haven Spa is "a mindful full-service spa and fitness center offering treatments that promote healing and spiritual growth, leaving guests feeling fulfilled, inspired, and invigorated," the hotel explained. It comes complete with outdoor soaking tubs and landscaped seating areas, along with an array of spa and fitness programming, including sound healing and yoga. And, with the hotel's proximity to world-class hiking, biking, ATV tours, and national park excursions, the spa will be a welcome respite and the place to go to slow down before doing it all again the next day. Rates start from $187 a night and bookings can be made on the resort's website.
