Bo Hardegree debuts as Las Vegas’ quarterbacks coach

Former Tennessee quarterback Bo Hardegree is serving as Las Vegas’ quarterbacks coach in 2022.

The Raiders opened NFL preseason play Thursday in the Hall of Fame game, defeating Jacksonville 27-11.

Hardegree served as quality control and quarterbacks coach with New England in 2021 under offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. McDaniels was hired as the Raiders’ head coach in 2022.

Hardegree played for the Vols from 2004-07 and was a member of two SEC East division championship teams.

Following his playing career, Hardergree served as a graduate assistant at Duke from 2008-10 under head coach David Cutcliffe.

The former Vol served as an intern at LSU from 2011-13 before launching his NFL coaching career.

Hardegree served as offensive quality control at Denver (2014), an offensive assistant with the Bears (2015), quarterbacks coach with Miami (2016-18) and an offensive assistant with the Jets (2019-20) prior to coaching at New England.
