Sep. 28—BISMARCK — Aspyn Peterson was knocking on the door of 40 digs Tuesday evening.

Peterson's 38 digs paced the Blue Jays' defense which collectively accumulated 128 digs. Setters Makenna Nold and Edie Hegerle combined for 43 assists dished out to the Jays' front three which was led by Bernadette Newman, Haylie Hakanson and Nold all of whom racked up 15 kills on the night.

Leah Trumbauer was the team's main stop at the net. The sophomore made two stops.

"There were some things that we struggled with at times but I felt that we had confidence in the end when we needed it most," Hegerle said.
