Blue Jays Roundup: Haylie Hakanson kills on senior night

Oct. 7—JAMESTOWN — Haylie Hakanson has never been one to brag about herself.

Her stats do that for her.

Hakanson blasted 10 kills past Mandan's defenses Thursday night to help the Jays pick up their second two-point victory of the season.

The Jays topped Mandan 25-8, 25-9, 25-15 to move to 13-2 in the West Region and 19-2 on the year.

Senior night was kind to Bernadette Newman as well.
