Blue Jays fans give Astros' Verlander standing ovation after no-hitter
Houston Astros ace Justin Verlander submitted a dominant no-hitter against the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Rogers Centre crowd was happy to root for greatness, over the home team on Sunday afternoon.
Verlander, who may have separated himself from teammate Gerrit Cole in the AL Cy Young race, struck out 14 batters while issuing one walk in the 2-0 victory.
Toronto’s fans were happy to appreciate an awesome moment in baseball history.
