Bills sign Syracuse’s Kingsley Jonathan to practice squad

The Bills have signed a familiar face back to their practice squad.

The team announced on Thursday that defensive end Kingley Jonathan has been signed to the team’s practice squad.

Jonathan spent training camp with the Bills after signing with the team out of Syracuse following the 2022 NFL draft as an undrafted rookie free agent.

At the end of training camp, Jonathan was waived by the Bills. The Bears then picked him up off of the wavier wire.

He had been with the Bears up until earlier this week when he was released.

Jonathan played a reserve role throughout the start of the 2022 season. He played in 35 snaps on defense and eight on special teams. Jonathan appeared in five total games for the Bears, notching four tackles, including two in their most recent contest.

In a corresponding move, the Bills released offensive lineman Greg Mancz from their practice squad.
