Here is what happened in the top Nashville area high school football games in Week 7.

Brentwood 24, Independence 23: Grant Nelson was 26-of-34 passing for 217 yards with two TDs in the overtime win. Teammate Matthew Manning caught 10 passes for 108 yards and a TD. Independence's Brooks Sapone was 14-of-23 passing for 258 yards and three touchdowns and Tre’ Hartwell had 22 carries for 87 yards and two catches for 65 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

Brentwood Academy 45, Christian Brothers 9: George MacIntyre was 10-of-20 passing for 95 yards and two touchdowns to lead Brentwood Academy. Deuce Scott had 16 carries for 73 yards and Isaiah Cane caught three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Cane Ridge 35, Smyrna 14: Shivan Abudullah was 9-of-14 passing for 186 yards with two TDs and an interception in a 35-14 win over Smyrna. That included four completed passes to Mose Phillips III for 106 yards and a TD. Teammate Reggie Goodloe returned to the field after being hurt the week prior. Goodloe ran for 144 yards and scored two TDs.

Cannon County 30, Grundy County 12: Ryan Perkins had 27 carries for 236 yards and a touchdown and Kolby Miller was 6-of-13 passing for 60 yards and a touchdown and had six carries for 51 yards and two touchdowns for Cannon County.

Columbia Academy 51, Mt. Juliet Christian 8: Elisha Nieves was 5-of-7 passing for 116 yards and two touchdowns and Nathan Thomas had one catch for 58 yards and a touchdown in Columbia Academy’s win. Jackson Gordon added 44 yards and a touchdown on one catch.

Eagleville 14, Wayne County 12: Jesse Brown was 11-of-21 passing for 171 yards and two touchdowns and Cade Pippenger had four catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns for Eagleville. Elijah Fearns added 82 yards and six catches and Marshall Spann had 11 tackles for the defense.

East Nashville 53, Green Hill 21: Zack Beard was 6-of-9 passing for 129 yards and four touchdowns and had a 2-yard touchdown run for East Nashville. Trequan Waters had 32 carries for 284 yards and two touchdowns and Frank Gordon caught four passes for 123 yards and four touchdowns.

Ensworth 55, Antioch 21: Levi Moore was 13-of-14 passing for 238 yards and two touchdowns for Ensworth. Shamar Porter caught four passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns and Mark Smith had four carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers. Tremaine James had eight catches for 100 yards and a touchdown for Antioch.

Fairview 30, White House 6: Mays McCoy was 13-of-23 passing for 161 yards and a touchdown and Layden Grant had 26 carries for 112 yards for Fairview.

FRA 39, CPA 38: FRA racked up 481 yards to beat CPA for the first time since 1997. Ty Clark III ran for 124 yards and two TDs on 22 carries. Teammate Logan Kinnard was 20-of-30 passing for 252 yards with two interceptions. He also ran for 36 yards.

Goodpasture 41, BGA 13: Jaron Elkins led Goodpasture with nine carries for 225 yards and three touchdowns. Musa Wellman had eight carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns and Caleb Smith added 79 yards on 12 carries. Austin Ford had 14 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown for BGA.

Henry County 29, Springfield 28: Ryan Damron was 9-of-16 passing for 171 yards and had 48 rushing yards. He also caught the game-winning 2-point conversion in overtime. Teammate Morgan Barrick had 80 yards and three TDs. Springfield's Devon Crenshaw was 8-of-24 passing for 101 yards. He also ran for 164 yards with two TDs.

Lipscomb Academy 58, Davidson Academy 6: Hank Brown was 10-of-11 passing for 210 yards and four touchdowns and Junior Sherril had five catches for 138 yards and a touchdown for Lipscomb Academy. Knox Roberts was 5-of-8 passing for 39 yards for Davidson Academy.

Marshall County 32, Lawrence County 0: Jaden Keys had nine carries for 94 yards and Silas Teat was 8-of-10 passing for 70 yards and a touchdown for Marshall County. Ian Clayton had 16 carries for 99 yards for Lawrence County.

MBA 35, Pope John Paul II 0: Marcel Reed was 8-of-13 passing for 127 yards and a touchdown to lead MBA. Johnothan Moore added 96 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries for the Big Red. Chet Lax was 11-of-23 passing for 93 yards for Pope John Paul II.

Nashville Christian 36, Grace Christian 0: Jared Curtis was 9-of-13 passing for 164 yards and two touchdowns and Jayden Satterfield had three catches for 100 yards and a touchdown for Nashville Christian. Jackson Hiett was 13-of-24 passing for 101 yards for Grace Christian.

Oakland 53, Blackman 18: Kade Hewitt was 7-of-9 passing for 171 yards with 48 rushing yards and two TDs in the Region 4-6A win. T.T. Hill added 80 yards and a TD and caught a 16-yard TD pass.

Overton 33, McGavock 22: Jevon Edmondson had 27 carries for 249 yards and a touchdown and Ryder Hagan was 14-of-19 passing for 218 yards and a touchdown and had one rush for 19 yards and a touchdown for Overton. Braden True added 129 yards and two touchdowns on six catches for the Bobcats.

Portland 28, Kenwood 14: Braylon Dowlen had 16 carries for 105 yards and a touchdown and Freddy Paxton returned a kickoff 90 yards and had 77 rushing yards for Portland. Keontay Showell had a 61-yards punt return for a touchdown for Kenwood.

Ravenwood 35, Summit 7: Carter Pace had 32 carries for 186 yards and three touchdowns and Kartuah Chapman added 53 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries for Ravenwood. Logan Frazier led Summit with two carries for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Stewarts Creek 42, Rockvale 7: Javarian Otey scored three touchdowns — two rushing and one receiving — to lead the Red Hawks (3-4, 1-2 Region 4-6A) to their first league win and keep their Class 6A playoff hopes firm. Otey had 17 carries for 189 yards and rattled off an 81-yard TD run and 20-yard TD run. He also caught a 21-yard touchdown pass. Teammate Tayden Mounivong had eight carries for 81 yards with a 40-yard TD run and Caleb Floyd added 86 yards on 16 carries with a 34-yard TD run. Tavon Lawrence picked off two Malachi Telin passes.

Upperman 28, Macon County 14: Jaxson Rollins had 20 carries for 134 yards and a touchdown and Terrence Dedmon had 10 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown to lead Upperman. Kyle Shockley was 6-of-13 passing for 119 yards and a touchdown and Hayden Wix had two catches for 88 yards and a touchdown for Macon County.

Wilson Central 31, White County 28: Gavin Mayfield was 6-of-6 passing for 135 yards and Tavin Hardin had 13 carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns to lead Wilson Central. Tripp Pinion had 21 carries for 193 yards and two touchdowns and was 8-of-14 passing for 104 yards and two touchdowns for White County.

York 34, Wartburg Central 6: Miles Leffew had 15 carries for 156 yards and three touchdowns and was 2-of-8 passing for 27 yards and a touchdown for York. Logan Pannell added 90 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.
