Bengals rookie Cam Taylor-Britt returns to practice…as Lamar Jackson

Cincinnati Bengals second-round pick Cam Taylor-Britt returned to the team on Wednesday after a stint on IR.

CTB had quite the interesting role in his first practice back too — he served as Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson as a member of the scout team.

Given that he was just activated, there is actually a 21-day window before CTB has to officially join the 53-man roster. Until then, he can practice and serve in interesting roles like this.

The Bengals play the Ravens in Week 5 on primetime and will have to deal with the red-hot Jackson there. CTB actually played quarterback in high school, so he was probably more qualified than most to emulate the MVP contender.

While the Bengals would probably love to have CTB out there for Sunday night’s game, he’s still managing to serve a role in helping the team prep.
