Being built to stand

Greetings to everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Many things are built, but will they stand? Some will not stand, and it depends on how you build and what you build upon.

Now, let us look at the foundation of a home or building in the natural. It must first have a blueprint, the ground and dirt must be compacted so its solid and hard, thirdly the outline must be formed up of what you want it to look like, fourth is that it must begin the prep of the interior and start the plumbing, the fifth step is that it use the chemical spray to combat the weeds and insects and sixth step involves covering the foundation with something called Vis queen.  After that, you can get your inspection done and begin to pour the foundation.

If you miss these important steps and begin to start building, then you will have a weak foundation and it will not stand.  It will come tumbling down. So now that we have outlined the natural building process let us look at the spiritual building process.  Everything we do involves a process. Now, our spiritual foundation must be Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Matthew 7:24-27 lets us know we must listen and obey his teachings being wise like a person who builds a house on a solid rock. Though the rain, floods and winds come harshly beating up against it, it will not collapse, and it will stand because it is built on a strong bedrock. If anyone hears his teachings and does not obey, it is foolish, like a person who builds upon sand, so that when the floods, rain and winds come, it will collapse with a mighty crash.

Our spiritual foundation must begin with repenting of our sins and having a change of mindset and comprehension. Having faith and believing that, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and thou shalt be saved.

Continue to pursue after the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the comfort to lead you, guide you into all truth, and get into a good Bible teaching ministry and continue to learn of him and his way, walking in faith and obedience to God's word. The spiritual foundation that God wants us to build upon is that we will be able to stand, being steadfast and unmovable.

People of God, keep standing in the things of God and yield to him. His building plan and process will always stand firm and work for us every time. Keep building upon the solid rock which is Jesus Christ our Lord, he will not let you down and he will answer when you call. Keep building yourself up praying in the Holy Spirit daily. Keep praying and obeying God's word daily and keep offering up a sacrificial praise and worship to God always. Matthew 16:18 says, “Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

People of God, be built to stand and continue to stand.
