It further broke down the testing process, which is explained in five steps.

First, you are required to apply for a test to see if you are selected to participate, which you will be notified of via email. If you are accepted, you will receive test product in the mail with instructions. The wearer will then test the product for a specific amount of hours or mileage per week for the decided length of the test period, which Reebok said is generally between two and four weeks. Then, Reebok you will submit your feedback (which you should log daily) and answer an online questionnaire, and finally send it back to the brand for inspection.

As far as the application process, you will be asked a series of questions. It starts with “What kind of products would you like to test?” with boxes for apparel and footwear, as well as gender. When selecting footwear, you will then be asked to provide size details that includes both the number size you wear as well as the width of your foot.

You will then be asked about your “category interests,” and can select up to five sports to test in. After selecting the sports, you will be asked a variety of questions such as your competition level in the sport, if you have competed before, how many hours do you wear shoes in this category a week, your average pace and mileage and more.

Lastly, the applicant will provide his or her personal details including your name, address, email address, height and whether or not you are a Reebok employee. After agreeing to the terms and the wear tester agreement you will receive a confirmation email to validate your email address.
