Bears TE Jimmy Graham retweeted a stat about Chicago's historically bad offensive performance
Justin Fields had a starting debut to forget as the Chicago Bears were clobbered by the Cleveland Browns, 26-6, on Sunday.
The game was not nearly as close as the score might indicate. Fields was sacked nine times – including a franchise-record 4 1/2 sacks for Myles Garrett – and the Bears offense as a whole was historically putrid, gaining 47 yards on 42 plays, averaging just 1.1 yards a play.
According to CBS Sports, that 1.1 yards per play for the Bears is the second-fewest by any team this century. (In 2004, the Browns averaged 0.6 yards a play in a 37-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills.)
That unbelievable statistic grabbed the attention of Bears tight end Jimmy Graham, who retweeted the @NFLonCBS post.

It's unclear what message Graham is trying to suggest with that retweet, but it hasn't been a great start to 2021 the season for the five-time Pro Bowler. Graham was targeted once but didn't have a catch in Sunday's loss. He has one catch for 11 yards and has been targeted just twice so far this season.
Fields was pressed into starting quarterback duties after the Bears' QB1 – Andy Dalton – hurt his knee while being pushed out of bounds during Chicago's 20-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.
