POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., Feb. 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- With an effort to create a culture that attracts and inspires the Hudson Valley's top-talent, Baxter has designed and constructed a new headquarter office located at 11 Garden Street in the City of Poughkeepsie retrofitting an existing building. Since its inception, this is the company's third home base growing from a boutique office at 54 Garden to a traditional 3,000 square-foot office space at 40 Garden Street.
Today, the 15,000 square-foot two-story plus basement building features a semi-open concept, providing a workplace environment that gives individuals the choice on how to manage their day. To accommodate individual styles and behaviors, there is a combination of open and closed workspaces and blend of meeting spaces that help increase productivity.
The lower level features a full kitchen, 56-seat open lounge, flex space, sports simulator and all-purpose gym with individual shower/locker rooms, allowing both introverts and extroverts to recharge. The casual space with original exposed concrete walls encourages employees to remove themselves from traditional work environments and take creative breaks. The space features materials, furniture and lighting that are commonly used throughout Baxter development projects. This allows the company to showcase local vendors and materials to potential clients and partners.
