Randleman baseball, Wheatmore soccer still alive in state playoffs

Randleman continued its dominance in pursuit of a second straight 2A state title with a two-game sweep of Community School of Davidson to set up a championship series against Whiteville this weekend.
In girls' soccer, No. 2 Wheatmore stayed undefeated at 23-0 with a 3-2 win over Community School of Davidson on Thursday to set up a 2A state semifinal at No. 1 seed Wilkes Central (21-3) on Tuesday.
