SEATTLE – Bailey Ober, still looking for his first major league decision, will make his fourth big-league start tonight (9:10, BSN) as the Twins face the Mariners at T-Mobile Park.

The righthanded Ober (4.85 ERA) squares off against lefthander Justus Sheffield (5-5, 4.91).

Griffin Jax took his lumps in Tuesday night's 10-0 loss, and the Twins sent him back to St. Paul today when they reinstated lefthanded reliever Caleb Thielbar (groin) from the injured list. Thielbar (4.29 ERA in 20 games) missed 12 games. Jax pitched in three games and had an 8.64 ERA in 8⅓ innings.

Righthander Shaun Anderson (finger blister) was reinstated from the IL and also sent to St. Paul.

Center fielder Byron Buxton, with the team, remains on the IL because of hip soreness.

Tonight's game is the season finale for the Twins and Seattle, which has won four of the five meetings.

In his last start, Ober went five innings, striking out seven, against Houston. He's also pitched against the Royals and White Sox.
