Auburn downs Missouri in OT on fumble recovery in end zone
Auburn looked like it was about to lose in overtime on Saturday to Missouri.
Then, Mizzou tailback Nathaniel Peat fumbled the football into the end zone on what seemed like the game-winning touchdown.
Auburn’s Cayden Bridges recovered and War Eagles had won the SEC battle of the Tigers, 17-14.
The teams combined for 12 consecutive punts in the second half.
Auburn coach Bryan Harsin has been squarely on the hot seat. Could a fumble recovery save his job for a week or more?
