The Auburn men's basketball team welcomed Yale to The Plains on Saturday for another early-season contest.

The Tigers defeated the Bulldogs 86-64.

Auburn improved to 7-1 with the win Saturday, the Tigers' fourth in a row.

Yale fell to 5-5 on the season with the loss.

Yale's Azar Swain tried to capitalize on an Auburn turnover with a fast-break bucket, but Auburn's Babatunde Akingbola had other plans and swatted the shot to one of his fellow Tigers.

Auburn's Jabari Smith throws down thunderous dunk vs. Yale

Jabari Smith soared threw the air and added to Auburn's lead late in the first half by throwing down a monstrous dunk. Smith's slam had both teammates and fans going berserk.

Jabari Smith blocks shot, drains 3-pointer to extend Auburn run

Auburn opened the game on a 7-0 run, and freshman Jabari Smith was a huge reason why. On the defensive end, Smith blocked a shot from Yale's Eze Dike, and Auburn came up with possession of the ball. Moments later, Smith received a pass from a teammate and drilled a 3-pointer.

The Tigers controlled the opening tip Saturday and took a 2-0 lead on a pair of free throws from Devan Cambridge.
