The Asolo Repertory Theatre celebrated the first phase of its Koski Center expansion on Tallevast Road with a special ceremony recently that included remarks from producing artistic director Michael Donald Edwards and managing director Linda DiGabriele.

The Asolo Rep’s Staging Our Future Capital Endowment Campaign expansion includes new spaces vital to the organization’s strategic plan for advancing artistic excellence, expanding educational and community enrichment programs, and evolving Asolo Rep revenue streams. The new facility features a rehearsal hall, lobby, and conference room.

Board president Carole Crosby, campaign co-chairs Ann Charters and Margaret Wise, and production and operations director Vic Meyrich also participated in the opening. Broadway performer Ann Morrison christened the Coville Rehearsal Hall with musical entertainment.

Fundraising is underway for the final phase of the expansion project, which will include additional rehearsal space, classrooms, studios, physical therapy facilities, offices, and a dedicated on-site suite for costume fitting, construction and storage. For information, visit bit.ly/3OE1YTW.
