Hello A-J readers!

With Thanksgiving on Thursday, this week's business news was fairly light. Business stories from this week included Salata Salad Kitchen's hunt for a franchisee, American Land Title entering the Lubbock market, and a change of ownership at Lubbock Electric Co. A reader tipped us off to the change of ownership, and I'd like to thank all of our readers who send us great tips and recommendations. It does make a difference.

Going into the future, we will have more holiday stories, end-of-the-year recaps and some great features across the newsroom. Stay tuned as we try to finish 2023 on a high note.

This week's best bite will go to Savage Tavern at 1625 University Ave. for their Hawaii 5.0 burger. I've seen a lot of people recommend their brunch, but I decided to check out their lunch on Monday. The burger was huge, came with a pile of curly fries, and had a great taste.

As always, thank you for reading and supporting the A-J.
