Hello A-J readers!

Since this week has been light on business news, I decided to share gift ideas from some locally owned stores I enjoy. Here are three businesses I believe you should check out for the holidays.

3 Locas Gringas

During the Holiday Happening, I found this fantastic vendor who sold beautiful Native American print items. They had blankets, scarves, steering wheel covers, baby doll blankets and even cute stuffed animals. Everything came in an array of colors, so I ended up walking away with a plush turquoise blanket, a matching steering wheel cover, a dark green scarf and a black scarf. Each item is ultra soft, and I recommend these gifts for the people who love softness on a cold day. Bonus, it is locally owned!

Check them out at 3-locas-gringas.myshopify.com or Facebook.

This Bath Is The Bomb

My love for the Wolfforth Farmers Market is not a secret. This vendor was one of the first ones I purchased from at the market, and their products were so fun. They had Sonic (the drive-thru joint, not the hedgehog) themed bath products for children, bath bombs to help with relaxation or feeling under the weather, and shower steamers. If someone on your list loves taking relaxing baths, I recommend this business.

Check them out on Facebook.

2nd Chance Books

As someone who loves a good book, and a good locally-owned bookstore, 2nd Chance Books at 4206 50th St. would be a worthwhile stop for the book-lovers on your list. The store also has a deal going to "create your own gift set" with three tiers, each pairing a mug and a bookmark. Some of the bookmarks are even made with resin.

As always, thank you for reading and supporting the A-J.
