Arkansas vs. Princeton softball video highlights, score in NCAA Tournament first round

The Princeton Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks softball teams meet in the 2022 NCAA Softball Tournament Fayetteville Regional first round on Friday, May 20.

Arkansas defeated Princeton 11-0 in five innings.

Princeton went to 27-16-2 overall. Arkansas improved to 45-9 overall.

Arkansas advances to face the winner of Oregon vs. Wichita State at 1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 21. Princeton faces the loser of Oregon vs. Wichita State at 3:30 p.m. CT/4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Arkansas Razorbacks left fielder Hannah McEwen hit a single to left field that drove in Audrie LaValley in the bottom of the fourth inning. LaValley's run put Arkansas up 11-0 vs. Princeton.

Arkansas' Danielle Gibson grand slam

Arkansas Razorbacks cleanup hitter Danielle Gibson hit a grand slam over the right-center field fence in the bottom of the fourth inning. KB Sides, Hannah McEwen, and Taylor Ellsworth also scored on the homer. Gibson's homer put Arkansas up 8-0 vs. Princeton.
