Arkansas softball vs. Texas Game 3: Live score updates from NCAA Tournament super regional

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas softball will meet Texas in a must-win Game 3 at Bogle Park on Saturday (3 p.m. CT, ESPN) with a trip to its first Women's College World Series on the line.

The No. 4-seed Razorbacks beat Texas 7-1 in Game 1 on Friday, but the Longhorns evened the series on Saturday with a 3-1 victory. Texas pitcher Hailey Dolcini threw a career-high 131 pitches in her complete game, bringing her pitch count above 530 in a one-week span. Coach Mike White didn't rule out her starting again on Saturday.

Arkansas (48-10) needs its bats back to their old ways against Texas (42-19-1) to advance to Oklahoma City. The Razorbacks got five hits in Game 2 and only one run, its fewest in the NCAA Tournament. The nation's fourth-best home-run hitting team has yet to get one off the Longhorns.
