Arkansas football at Mississippi State game time, TV details announced

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football's first true road game of the season has its game time and TV network. The No. 19 Razorbacks will travel to Mississippi State on Oct. 8. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT, and the game will air on SEC Network.

The game is the first of three straight road games for the Razorbacks, with an open date Oct. 22.

Arkansas (3-1, 1-1 SEC) will be coming off a home game against No. 2 Alabama. Mississippi State (3-1, 0-1 SEC) will enter the game after playing No. 17 Texas A&M.

Arkansas has beaten Mississippi State each of the last two seasons under coach Sam Pittman. The Razorbacks lead the all-time series 18-13-1.

Last season's matchup had a dramatic finish, with the Bulldogs missing a game-winning, 40-yard field goal attempt in the final seconds. It was their third missed field goal of the game, and Arkansas won 31-28.
