Fansided: Take the Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks on Wednesday

Matt De Saro writes: "Walker Buehler gets the start for L.A. in this game and looks to get back on track after a rough game against the Phillies on Friday. Buehler gave up five runs in five innings off nine hits and a walk. He had been phenomenal up until that point and I fully expect that dominance to continue here. Last month, Buehler had what might be the best start of his career against the Diamondbacks; firing a complete-game three-hitter, striking out 10, while issuing no free passes. Zach Davies takes the mound for Arizona, and he is likely going to lose this duel. He comes off a rough start against the Cubs on Friday, not to mention he got beat up a bit by the Dodgers in April as well. In another game against another team, I think this is a very winnable matchup for Arizona. But today, against the Dodgers with Buehler on the mound, I expect the Diamondbacks suffer a setback."

Sports Chat Place: Go with the Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks in series finale

Randy Chambers writes: "Zach Davies has been great this month with a 1.59 ERA through 17 innings, but current Dodgers are hitting .272 against him in 119 at bats. Walker Buehler has been great all year, allowing 13 runs through 41.2 innings. The Los Angeles Dodgers are also getting back on track, and winning a doubleheader yesterday only adds to the confidence. Also, quick turnaround, I have to lean the home team. Of course, I take the RL to shave down the price."

Pick Dawgz: Take the Dodgers on the run line vs. Diamondbacks

Shane Mickle writes: "The Diamondbacks are 4-1 in their last five games on Wednesday. The Dodgers are 24-6 in Buehler's last 30 starts following a team loss in their previous game. The over is 4-0-1 in Buehler’s last five Wednesday starts. The Dodgers bats have been so hot coming into this game, and they will continue that here. In Davies last start he gave up three runs, but the Dodgers bats are going to find even more success in this game. Back the Dodgers on the run line."

Stat Salt: Go with the Dodgers on Wednesday vs. Diamondbacks

Bosun Akinpelu writes: "The Diamondbacks have lost four of their last five games and seven of their last 10 games against the Dodgers. They aren’t very good offensively, and they played worse in their last three games, scoring less than three runs per game. Things won’t get easier for them in this game because they haven’t hit the ball well against right-handers and they’re going up against Buehler, who has dominated on the mound this season, giving up nine runs in five starts. He is 5-0 against the Diamondbacks and gave up only two runs in his last four starts against them, so expect the Diamondbacks to struggle offensively in this game. The Dodgers lead the league in scoring this season, averaging more than five runs per game. Even though Davies has pitched well for the Diamondbacks this season, he struggled in his last start against the Dodgers, giving up three runs in four innings when he faced them last month and will have a hard time slowing them down once again."

Winners and Whiners: Back the Dodgers in series finale vs. Diamondbacks

Nathaniel Reeves writes: "While the strikeout strangely aren't there so far in 2022, Buehler has been plenty effective with a 72 ERA-/85 FIP- thanks to his ability to limit walks and hard contact. The lack of offense makes it hard for Arizona to keep up with a well-rounded Dodgers team every game, and Los Angeles will be able to grab a win on the run line here."
