Arizona Diamondbacks reveal Nike City Connect ‘Serpientes’ jerseys
The Arizona Diamondbacks revealed their Nike City Connect ‘Serpientes’ jerseys on Sunday.
They are one of seven MLB teams that will sport Nike's MLB City Connect Series, which the team says will "highlight the franchise’s desert roots, the state’s Hispanic culture and the bond between the team and its fans."
Arizona will wear the uniform seven times this season and will debut the jerseys on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Boston Red Sox, Miami Marlins, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs have already debuted their City Connect uniforms.
“We are proud to be among the first teams to launch our City Connect uniforms that pay homage to so much of what makes life in Arizona unique,” said Diamondbacks President & CEO Derrick Hall. “This concept is about bringing our community together, with respect for the past and an eye toward the future.”

The team will also wear the uniforms on July 16 against the Cubs, July 30 when they take on the Dodgers, August 13 vs. the San Diego Padres and the entire series against the Dodgers starting Sept. 24.
