Dalton Gomez and Ariana Grande are officially husband and wife! According to People, the newlyweds held a private ceremony last weekend. "They got married," Grande's representative said. "It was tiny and intimate—less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier."

News of their nuptials comes after a one-year courtship that began in January 2020. The pair dated and spent time together in New York City in the early stages of their relationship. Grande and Gomez continued to develop their bond in quiet fashion over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a source explained that "he likes keeping his relationship with Ari private." The singer eventually made the move to Los Angeles, California, to be with her now-husband, who works as a real estate agent. "It was getting tricky for them to see each other, so she decided to take her chance," a source previously shared with People. "She purchased a house in the Hollywood Hills in June and never looked back. They are incredibly happy." According to TMZ, the "informal" nuptials took place at this residence without a formal ceremony; the pair exchanged vows casually at home, notes the outlet's sources.

The couple confirmed their engagement in December 2020 on Instagram; at that time, they, along with their families, were so excited to take on married life together. "They couldn't be happier, they're just so excited," a People source said. "This is a happy time for them, both sets of parents are thrilled."

"Ari's family is very happy. Everyone loves Dalton. He is great for Ari," an insider previously added. "This phase of her life has been very quiet and uneventful in a good way. They are very happy that she is marrying Dalton."
