Braden Poole is Player of the Week

Mount Union senior forward Braedon Poole has been named Ohio Athletic Conference men's basketball Player of the Week.

Poole, from McDonald, recorded his second double-double of the season in a win over Wooster on Wednesday night. He finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds with six steals.

This is the third time in Poole's career that he has won the award and the second time this season.

Mount Union alters tip times Saturday

Mount Union's basketball games against Heidelberg, scheduled for Saturday at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex, have had the start times pushed back to accommodate the football playoff game.

The Purple Raiders will play host to Muhlenberg (Pa.) at noon in the NCAA Division III football quarterfinal-round game.

Mount Union will play Heidelberg in women's basketball at 4 p.m., with the men's game scheduled to start at 6 inside Timken Gymnasium.

Mount Union's Humeniuk named Diver of the Month

Mount Union sophomore Eli Humeniuk has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Diver of the Month.

Humeniuk, from Sylvania Northview, won the 1-meter dive with a score of 218.45 and the 3-meter dive (180.35) at John Carroll on November 6. He finished second in the 1-meter dive against Baldwin Wallace on November 13 and won 1-meter dive against Wooster on November 19.

This is the first time the OAC has recognized a diver of the month.
